practices due to inclement weather
Should rain fall be extensive to the point that fields might be damaged or player safety is in question, families will be notified via email and, when possible, the web site will be updated with any further instructions. Practices that are canceled due to weather will be rescheduled when possible but will depend on field availability and any input from staff. Soccer At Our Parks! Villages Soccer is managed by BASL Soccer and is a proud member of the Villages Athletic Association. We provide youth soccer training and instruction to the children of the World Golf Village area, ages 4 and up. Our mission is to develop sound young men and women that will be the leaders of tomorrow. Our coaches are dedicated to teaching the fundamentals of teamwork and good sportsmanship through soccer. of the coaching staff. Practices and games will not be played in the presence of
lightning. All training staff members are trained in safety procedures in dealing with lightning sirens at the fields. (One long blast indicates a dangerous environment while 3 short blasts indicate "all is clear". There is always a 30 minute delay in the event of a warning blast.)
