Villages Soccer offers recreational and competitive soccer playing opportunities for the youth of Palencia, the World Golf Villages and their surrounding areas. (zip codes 32092 and 32095).
Villages Soccer is the soccer arm of the Villages Athletic Association charity (www.villagesathletics.org). The creation of a new local soccer program was presented to both BASL Soccer (www.basl.com) and Villages Athletics Association by St. Johns County Recreation and Parks department. If you are not familiar with BASL Soccer, we are proud to be recognized as the largest organized soccer league within the Florida State Soccer Association and the dominant soccer program in North East Florida (currently supporting over 200 teams, 3,000 players with the caliber of novice-recreational to ex-national professionals, and running programs 4 seasons per year)! Our direct staff of coaches, team managers, and field personnel are dedicated to our local community. We want the youth of our Villages and surrounding area to enjoy the sport of soccer without having to travel longer distances to other clubs. Our own local community has a wealth of soccer facilities and playing talent. The Villages Soccer program has the support of Village Athletic Association and St. Johns County Parks and Recreation to furnish local field resources for conducting our soccer programs. Soccer At Our Parks! Villages Soccer is managed by BASL Soccer and is a proud member of the Villages Athletic Association. We provide youth soccer training and instruction to the children of the World Golf Village area, ages 4 and up. Our mission is to develop sound young men and women that will be the leaders of tomorrow. Our coaches are dedicated to teaching the fundamentals of teamwork and good sportsmanship through soccer.
